Office of Alumni & Parent Relations
Mark Meador, Senior Director of Alumni & Parent Relations Mark Meador’s family roots and love for Lipscomb University
run deep. Not only did he attend Lipscomb, but his grandparents,
parents, sister, aunt, uncles and numerous cousins are also alumni. His
grandfather, Prentice Meador Sr., graduated in 1932 and was the first
season ticket holder in McQuiddy Gymnasium. His grandmother, Margaret
Meador, was inducted as a Lipscomb Legend in 1998 after 26 years as a
fourth-grade teacher at David Lipscomb Elementary School.

management and healthcare, but he believes he is now “truly in the
service industry.”
