Office of Alumni & Parent Relations

Mark Meador, Senior Director of Alumni & Parent Relations

Mark Meador’s family roots and love for Lipscomb University run deep. Not only did he attend Lipscomb, but his grandparents, parents, sister, aunt, uncles and numerous cousins are also alumni. His grandfather, Prentice Meador Sr., graduated in 1932 and was the first season ticket holder in McQuiddy Gymnasium. His grandmother, Margaret Meador, was inducted as a Lipscomb Legend in 1998 after 26 years as a fourth-grade teacher at David Lipscomb Elementary School.

It was a natural fit when Mark joined Lipscomb as Senior Director of Alumni & Parent Relations in August 2006. He had most recently served as vice president of market operations with Aegis Marketing Group, Inc., a local healthcare company. Mark’s experience includes 15 years in management and healthcare, but he believes he is now “truly in the service industry.”

Mark and his wife, Shelli, have four children -- Cole, Chase, Carson, and Madison.
